Trying to overcompensate for 13 years of irrelevancy I guess. Wonder what BEast team will send UK packing next year...

It doesn't mean you are "irrelevant" if you don't make the Final Four. UK was extremely relevant all the way up through 2005.

In that case, I agree with you

How many final four trips does Cincinatti have?

As long as the Big East knocks out UK, that is good enough for UC fans :lol::lol:

One of only 14 schools with multiple national titles. 6 Final 4s. Best player is miles better than any Wildcat in history. Thanks for asking...

We've won more titles than you have been to Final Fours? Seems like that 'best player' thing would have had a bigger impact than that :bunny:

Funniest part is they won the two titles right after Oscar left. Finished 3rd his final 2 years...

Please don't insult our intelligence by even attempting to compare Cincinnati's program to Kentucky's. Kind of like comparing middle school basketball with the NBA. For that matter, any team in the BE. Sad that you had to turn this thread into what it is.

I do know that the last time UC was in the final 4, I was wearing a flat top haircut. Hey, don't knock it.....That haircut was the in thing in 1992....:D

Funniest part is they won the two titles right after Oscar left. Finished 3rd his final 2 years...

Weird. For some reason I always thought he won one and then they won again the year after he left.

Never once did I compare the two outside of stating that Oscar is better than anyone UK ever had. :D

corndog seems to think bringing up UC is going to somehow bother me. It doesn't, but I was kind enough to answer his question... :thumb:

Interesting...what UK fans do in football (beat the SEC drum & beat it tirelessly) Big East non-contending schools do in basketball (beat the Big East drum tirelessly).

Not being a jerk here, just stating what I perceive to be fact, because I've done it w/ the SEC flag-waving myself.

Funniest part is they won the two titles right after Oscar left. Finished 3rd his final 2 years...

Then they just missed a third in a row with what I believe was the number one ranked team going into the tournament. They were on the cusp of being UCLA before UCLA.

Never once did I compare the two outside of stating that Oscar is better than anyone UK ever had. :D

I don't care if it bothers you or not. Simply showing how silly it is that you stand on your high horse flexing your basketball muscle when your team that you have a rooting interest in is nothing but a has been.
