It all depends on the coach. If they needed the boot, they got it. They haven't had a keeper in some time.

Maybe they should look at who is doing the hiring. Just sayin.

They supposedly cured the problem with a new Supt., Principal and Athletic Director. Time will tell.

 Read my post again....I said baseball coach.

Ok so I goofed.

Has any one been hired for any of the jobs?

I was told that there was 26 applicants for the Nicholas County job.

Any names?

Per KHSAA, Hickman Co. and Southwestern have opened up. Any word on whether coach Schulz was forced to resign or left on his own, just curious?

Saw this in the Middletown paper. Some familiar names on the list. http://www.middletownjournal.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/dayton/prepsplus/entries/2011/04/05/middletown_boys_basketball_job.html?cxtype=feedbot

Why in the world would they print all the applicants names? The ones that don't get the job and then have to go back to the team they were trying to leave may not appreciate the list being made public.

Was thinking very same thing.....especially with Coach Cox of Mount St Joe's. How do you explain that to current players and kids you are recruiting??

They have no choice but to release the names, open records law. Believe me, the school's don't want to, but they have to.

Saw Pat Murphy was an applicant, former Lebanon Head Coach, does anyone have more information on this guy (other places he coached?)

Greenup County is posting for a new coach Monday. Nickell turned in his resignation Thursday.
