Just to add on, what I said wasn't meant as a slap in the face. The facts are that the kid has made the "Watch List" for now. Stating that is not saying anything negative, but only making a true statement. No 2012 player is an ESPN 150 guy officially right now. What me and PP were trying to do is spread the facts of what is actually going on there. It's easy to misread the watch list and misinterpret it wrong, for instance someone thought he was ranked #11 in the country. He may end up being ranked that, but right now they don't have rankings for anyone on there.

I dont think people can even grasp the idea of a local kid being considered as a Top 150 player in the USA. I think there is probably close to 50,000 kids playing football. I understand completely. After seeing Lamar Dawson's senior year and recruitment up close I know all about the pride you feel for Patrick. It is a tremendous deal to be on the Top 150 Watch List and I hope he ends up as a top 150 player along with Zeke Pike. I wish more Ky kids could go through and get the recognition that Lamar, Patrick and Zeke have gotten and will continue to get. Seeing Lamar Dawson trending on Twitter when he announced he was going to USC was an awesome feeling and I hope you guys enjoy the experience this year.

:thumb: No harm no foul. Kentucky had 2 or 3 guys on the top 150 last year at ESPN, so hopefully there will be more to come this year. I'll say this though, I think the ESPN rankings have a heavy southern bias, so it could be hard for him to get on there even if he is deserving. Seems like most of their list is from Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama and Texas. So if he makes it, I think it is an even bigger accomplishment than it may seem.

They break it down in pro-style and duel threat. He will be pro-style I think he's very good but top 5 in the country I personally don't think so.

Pike seems to be in consideration for the top overall QB spot in the country from a few sites. I think when the first rankings come out he's in the top 5 on Scout, ESPN or Rivals. Unless I'm mistaken only Rivals really breaks it down from pro-style to dual threat out of the main 3 rankings. I would be willing to bet Pike gets a 5 star rating from at least one of the sites going off what I've read. I'd be shocked if he's not in the top 3 or 4 on Scout, right or wrong.
