I've heard about this kid. My buddy's son was the qb at Alter this year and went against him or saw him.

Is this the top 150 or the top 150 Watch List? Seems like there are a lot more than 150 prospects in this list.

I don't know. I assumed the top 150 would be the top 150 and that the top 150 Watch List contained players they felt worthy of being in the top 150 but not a firm 150 yet. I really don't know. It just looked like more than 150 people on that list so I was wondering if anyone knew or what the difference was or if there is even a difference.

This is the Watch list unless I'm mistaken. There are about 300 kids on that if not more. All that means is that they are inconsideration for a top 150 ranking in ESPN. He may end up on there but I don't think they bring out the first 150 rankings until the summer.

This is not to be discounted by anyone. This is a big deal for Pat, his family, Highlands and NKY football and I have a feeling he will make the cut. Great job Pat for making the "watch list" LOL.

I'm by no means trying to discount or take anything away from him. That he is even being considered for the ESPN 150 is a great honor and achievement, I would guess that at worst he will end up as a pretty high 3 star player on there because of that. I like FT-Highlands, so I hope that he makes the cut. Either way ESPN has him as a very highly rated recruit :thumb:.

Just to add on, what I said wasn't meant as a slap in the face. The facts are that the kid has made the "Watch List" for now. Stating that is not saying anything negative, but only making a true statement. No 2012 player is an ESPN 150 guy officially right now. What me and PP were trying to do is spread the facts of what is actually going on there. It's easy to misread the watch list and misinterpret it wrong, for instance someone thought he was ranked #11 in the country. He may end up being ranked that, but right now they don't have rankings for anyone on there.
