Lex Cath looking good tonight against Central. How will Dixie fare against this team? Watching Lex Cath tonight, I noticed they love to spread you out and they do a really nice job of beating you in many different ways.

 

Saw them beating their man off the dribble, getting easy back door baskets, and many dribble/drive/dishes. Beckham is a stud and Taylor Martin and Schuett (sp.?) is also a nice player. Also saw them hold the ball (their point guard stood with the ball for 1:55) with an 8 point lead while Central stayed in their zone. Zone might be a good D to play against them if you are playing with a lead to clog up the middle. The spread could be tough to defend if Dixie's defenders over play their man. Good luck to the Red Colonels in Rupp.

Lex Cath shows nearly no celebration and gets in line to shake hands like it's the third game of the season. Guess that's what you do when you've won the region 3 out of the last 4 years. Night and Day from yesterday at the BOKC.

Lex cath will be tough because they always bring a crowd. Dixie has to phase out the crowd and play their game. Pike needs to stay out of foul trouble for dixie to have a shot. I think Dixie will surprise people down at rupp once they start playing. Hatton gets to play on the big stage in the state. Id like to see Dixie win, but i think LexCath wins by 10+.

I say get Ms. Banta to use some of that money they earned yesterday and bus the entire school down, get em all tickets and root their team on to victory.

Seriously though he deserve a ton of credit. As someone who has been around the school 8 years I've seen the hard work and dedication he has put in.
