I was on the front row, so I was an eyewitness to the whole thing. :lol: She was in such a rush she dropped her glasses, but thankfully they didn't get trampled.

 

I thought that the winning teams student section usually does or it was that way when I was in high school. :lol::taz:

But GRC fans I'm sure were pumped about winning.

Best of luck to Coach Hump and Goldie in particular. No one has busted the chops of the Cards and Coach over the last 3 years than me. A lot of it was dissapointment in the way they played:madman: and bullitin board material for them to get fired up because have thought they should have been at Rupp at least twice by now. This fan was for sure! It was nice to see the kids out congratulating the players and celebrating! (With Goldie leading the charge!)

The Fieldhouse was indeed crawling with BGPers tonight. I shared my popcorn (which was delicious, by the way :popcorn:) with three of them. Hogs, you know who you are. :lol: I too enjoyed a very nice conversation w/ All In. :thumb: Sumo is a permanent fixture @ the Fieldhouse. LBBC's nose is probably bleeding. :lol:

 

But special attention should be given to Gold Sunrise, a tried and true GRC fan. Don't know Goldie personally, but a friend pointed her out to me. Saw her storm the court with the fans--almost losing her glasses in the process! :ylsuper: Wish you the best as you head to Lexington to support your beloved Cards! :thumb:

Want to give congrats to the Pendleton Co team and fans. Making it to the finals of the region was a huge accomplishment for them this year. They had a great cheering section tonight too.You have so much to be proud of. #50 played his heart out tonight...really like this kid and how he played.

 

Now to my CARDS...WAY TO GO GUYs!!!!:dancingpa So very proud of you. Robbie Stenzel was in a zone the first quarter. He came out overheated the second half and don't think he took a shoot 2nd half. Saw the trainer working with him on the bench at half time. Little Bopper...what can I say...you are what makes the Cards go. Jaylan I know you played sick tonight, but still played your butt off. Cory Rogers you were a beast inside and they had no answer for you.Vinny, you played great...blocking shots rebounding and what great hustle.Purvis, came off the bench and made some great hustle plays and putbacks under the basket. To the rest of the subs, you have gone up against these players in practice every day and have helped gotten this team to Rupp. Coaching staff I know you enjoyed your trip home tonight....we finally made it. Now 4 more game guys!!!

[i think that as long as Clark decides to get the ball inside they will win easy. If they want to stand outside and shoot 3's and be "pretty" PC will be able to keep it close. I like Clark 77-52.]

 

Those 3's sure looked pretty tonight in that 1st quarter, don't you think.

Congrats to the 10th Region Champion George Rogers Clark Cardinals!! You all played with so much HEART and emotion tonight. Robbie was on fire in the first quarter and really lead the GRC charge that got them the big lead. It was a great atmosphere tonight as both GRC and Pendleton Co brought huge crowds. I love to see communities come out and support their teams. Congrats to Pendleton Co on a great tourney run!! You definitely earned this fan's respect. I saw Goldie storm the floor too and I have PROOF. I took a picture of her storming the floor. A priceless picture to be SURE. I am so proud to be a CARDS fan tonight. GRC wins their 22nd regional championship overall. Congrats again!! I got to see the police escort that the team got back into town too. Pretty cool. There was fans standing on the Bypass with signs. GO CARDS!! Four more games and you will realize your dream.

I'm proud of the guys.

We are proud of our Wildcats! What a post-season and so many great memories.

Seniors you will definitely be missed. Everyone was counting us out in the post-season.

They said we wouldn't beat Deming in the Districts nor Harrison. THe BGP experts even had you losing to Montgomery and by 20 plus to Mason.

But there we were playing in the finals. You will not be forgotten!

 

Clark County is as advertised and played a great game tonight. I hope they cut the nets down in Rupp! I will be there cheering them on at state.

Make us 10th Region fans proud.

 

I think the future looks bright for Pendleton with 4 of their top six players returning and a very strong and successful JV team coming back.

They have one heck of a point guard who had a whale of a tournament. A couple great shooters who just couldn't get it going tonight. They have some size coming back and some nice depth. Looking forward to next season when it comes.
