March 30, 201115 yr I watched the last couple minutes of the 3rd and all of the 4th on the NBA Channel. I may be completely wrong on this, but I thought I heard earlier today that this was some kind of "fan picks" game where there was a vote to decide which game would be televised this evening. They had McHale, Webber, etc. in the studio but it sounded like the regular Cavs guys on the play-by-play.

March 30, 201115 yr Miami just lost to the Cavs. Wow that is one horrible roster. I'm glad Cleveland at least got one of their home games as a win against LeBron. They city deserves it.

March 30, 201115 yr Author Atleast LeBron has 2 MVPs, has led his team to the Finals, Conference Finals, Best record in the conference, & best record in the league. And never had anywhere near the talent KD has had around him. No where near a legit comparison IMO. Kevin Durant gets Russell Westbrook & Serge Ibaka, LeBron got Boobie Gibson and Big Z. Take Russell Westbrook off of the Thunder and I doubt the Thunder even make the playoffs last year and they probably barely get in this year. To me at least Kevin Durant is Carmelo Anthony or TMac until he proves otherwise. Outside of Kobe, LeBron has been head and shoulders above the rest of the league the last 5 years has he not? Why the sudden dislike of Durant? He is in his 4th season now and the team has progressively gotten better. I was most impressed with Durant this past summer in the FIBA games when he led the team to the championship.

Because many had him leapfrog guys like Dwight Howard & DWade straight to the conversation with LeBron and Kobe. Turns out it was way too quick IMO, as Rose is easily better than Durant. Wade and Howard seems way ahead of Durant to me. Durant can score, but the MVP of his team is Russell Westbrook IMO.
March 31, 201115 yr It is an interesting argument that Lebron gets credit for winning 60+ games with no talent in Cleveland. Now he's on a team with elite talent and they aren't going to finish as good as Lebron's Cavs teams.

Makes a huge deal because they're still trying to figure it out. They'll win 60 easily next year if I had to guess.
April 1, 201115 yr Lakers wins for the past 5 seasons. The West is down this year but most people probably don't realize how great this 2nd half has been for the Lakers. They now have a legit shot to snatch up the top spot in the West because the Spurs can't seem to win a game. They've now lost 5 in a row and have to actually play out the rest of the season to try and lock up the 1 seed. April 1, 201115 yr I agree with you a lot Cats and we have also disagreed on some things but I can't keep quiet any longer. Durant is for real! I know you think he is overhyped and just a scorer, but there's a reason why the Thunder has rised from obscurity and KD is that reason. Westbrook is good and supplies a very good compliment but you take Durant away from that team and in no way is Westbrook going to do that much damage by himself. The thing about Durant is he will only continue to get better and thats scary. Lot of skill in his 6'10'' frame. Some of the shots he makes are crazy good and as bad as I hate to say it, very Kobe-esque. I know your not going to agree no matter what I say but you want proof that Durant is something more than just an overrated scorer then look no further than last summers FIBA run. That team was all Durant all the time and he basically shouldered the entire load on the way to the gold medal. Without him they would not have even made the podium IMO. He is a scorer, he is a talented scorer but to say that's all he is would be selling him way too short. I'm not one to give credit unless it is due and I hate on a lot of guys who have yet to "show me something", but KD is considered one of the leagues best for a reason. He also does a lot more for his team than just score but I'm sure you will not accept that.

He said on the herd today that he likes Fisher so he had to take it out on someone else so he picked on the little guy. NBA fights are so awful, I dont know if any player in the league can fight worth a darn.

Next to Artest he is one of the craziest guys in the league.
