Matt has gotten on my last nerve. I hope he loses next week and goes home. Worst player in the history of Survivor. All he has to do is stay alive on Redemption Island and then he can give his money to his church. After seeing the previews to next week's episode I am trying to figure out why he even went on Survivor. Sad part is that he will probably win.

 

 

As for Phillip, while I do think he is short a few cards of a full deck I can relate to what he was feeling. Not excusing his rant but when you are feeling belittled because of your race then you will reach a breaking point. Doesn't make his rant right because I don't think Steve is racist but I can definitely relate and understand the emotional dilemma that Phillip was going through.

I definitely agree he has some deep rooted issues. I just also understand where he was coming from emotionally with his rant.

Some quick thoughts:

 

- Phillip SHOULD be the safest person in the history of Survivor going forward.

- I'm with PP92, as I can't wait for Matt to go home.

- Was it just me or did Andrea REALLY look like she wanted that immunity challenge. I'm definitely not counting her out yet...

- I'm really curious how long until Redemption Island ceases to exist. The longer it lasts the greater a chance for a wild card to come in and win. All of the Russell tribe would vote for Mike and probably Matt. If either of those could come in with a short amount of people I think they could win the immunity challenges and make it to the final 3 and be a BIG threat to win it all.

- If I'm Robb I give some thought to putting Grant on RI soon as a "hired gun" to beat them out. Most people feel he is Rob's puppet so I don't know how many votes he'd get.

- I still don't know how I feel about RI but with the way this season has gone it looks to me like it has provided the greatest threat to Rob's dominance. In any other season I'd be almost assured he'd have it locked up at this point.

Next week should be fun.

Are they trying to create a tribe of outcasts on RI? What the heck? Now there are four of them out there. The way they are doing this I can almost see there being some sort of challenge between the group on RI and the remaining survivors. It is going to be interesting to see how they play this out.

 

Can you believe no one in the survivors is questioning why there are no more clues for the hidden immunity idol? I really can't believe that hasn't been brought up by anyone. Grant knows there are clues. What is he thinking? Do they think all the clues have been given and no one could find it? That's the only explanation I can come up with. Rob is getting into an almost unbeatable situation since he has that hidden idol. If he can win another challenge or two and hold onto the idol, he is almost guaranteed a spot in the finals.

Bold prediction. Rob's puppets will turn on him soon and he gets blindsided without playing the idol. I think they may be riding his coattails and will start actively looking to get rid of him. He's also gotten very full of himself and thinks he's invincible.

 

By the numbers:

 

There are 2 Wednesday and the finale episode left. They have 2 regular episodes to get to the final 5 (assuming a final 3 vote). I think the 4 that are on RI now get to do an endurance challenge at the beginning of next week's episode. Winner back in, losers jury (and my just for giggles prediction the winner gets immunity at tribal). That leaves 7. Regular tribal at the end, bootee to jury. That leaves 6 going into the final Wednesday. Regular tribal at the end of that episode and we have 5 left going into the finale. That leave the traditional 2 tribals and jury vote for the finale.

 

Of course I've been totally wrong about everything this season so this won't happen.

I don't think Rob has gotten full of himself publicly like Russell would have at this point. I'd be interested in seeing how they could blindsided him without knowing though. Someone would tell him. If Rob doesn't win I hope Grant does. Or even Phillip for lasting as long as he has. Besides those three and Matt no one else is deserving to me. Next week should be really fun.

 

As for RI.....I have no clue what the plan is. All I know is that Matt will win at least 100K from Survivor. At least.
