Thats funny !! I don't see the big schools in northern Ky , willing to even scrimmage Trinity . What's up with that ? Give HHS some credit , they will step on the field with Trinity , that's more than I can say about other teams in Ky. Yea , you know who I'm talking about ! :scared:

From your past history, I'm guessing Trinity and Highlands right. I don't know for Trinity, but I have never heard anyone in the HHS administration "boo hoo" about teams not scheduling. Now, I said "I have never heard anyone", so don't jump me if "you" have heard some HHS Administrator say this, but not to my knowledge. People may discuss but I don't think it's "boo hoo" ing. I mean seriously, "boo hoo"ing. HAHAHAHAHA!!! Now that's funny.

While you bash OTHER schools, why don't you tell us which school you root for?

This is an awesome schedule, but isn't this who Trinity should be playing. Over 200 boys play football. Private school. Best team in Kentucky. St. X Ohio only team ranked in USA top 100 and they didnt win state championship, lost 5 games. 2 teams out of Tennesssee didnt win a state championship Did any team on the schedule win 1? Hopefully these are teams T will beat because if they don't it's not going to look good on KY football.

If Trinity loses a few games, I don't think it will necessarily look bad for Kentucky football.....especially compared to where Kentucky football now stands in the eyes of many in our neighboring states. Has anyone said Trinity is going to go undefeated? Talk about unrealistic expectations.

I agree that if you look at each opponent separately, Trinity will likely match up well against them. However, I think the difficult thing with their schedule is how every week Trinity's opponent will be tough. Franky, given the talent they have coming back this year, and how great their coaching is, I wouldn't be surprised if Trinity is better than all the teams they play this year. But, Trinity is probably not used to having a first-rate opponent each and every week. Given how difficult their schedule is from start to finish, I would agree that it will be very difficult for Trinity to go through the season with none or only one loss. We'll see, though!

I, for one, am glad we are back on the topic. Was getting a bit confused :confused:(not to mention a bit ("put out with"):irked:with all the chatter about; which JCPS school had better facilities, who had the better advantage, which kids got to go to which school, and who got stadium lights first, etc.

 

May we please stay on topic and talk about this unbelievable schedule.

How many schools on Trinity's out of state schedule have the same enrollment numbers ? I'm not sure , but I think most of them have smaller enrollment numbers . ( Correct me if I'm wrong ! )

I don't think the results will impact KY football; most knowledgeable fans/critics know Trinity/Highlands are not representative of KY football; these 2 programs are in a different league!

When the Rocks/X play out side Jefferson County, I'll pull for them to win every time. I have even bragged on them to people from Alabama/Tennessee/Georgia.

RP, remember my comment "walk in my shoes" I have been on both sides, I played on soft ball teams that rarely lost, we played other church teams that never ever beat us. We just played and won kinda like the Rocks over the years. I also coached a womans team at my wife's work and for two years got run ruled every game. if the Rocks record against the pubs wasn't so lopsided do you think we would have these conversations?

Softball teams and work teams being compared to high school football? That's apples and pianos my man. Please stop with this lunacy.

Or that X operates the same as T but some cowardly public schools still opt to play them? The whole thing is a joke. You know it. Everyone knows it. Oh wait, they work harder. I forgot.
