I will have to look that one up but I am sure it isn't flattering to Aguilera.

As I posted in other threads on this topic, I actually thought Aguilera sounded very good. She messed up a line but she sounded good.

She was also off-pitch several times.

Off-pitch ... you are watching too much American Idol. Not saying she didn't miss a note but that off-pitch/pitchy comment is made on every Idol show.

Very bad is what she was, get someone who actually knows the words, a disgrace to the US.

It sounded like she was yelling instead of singing.

I commented on the other thread, I said I'm not throwing stones at her. She is human and to forget a word or two, well she didn't do it to be mean. maybe we could put ourselves in her shoes...(Ok have at it)

She knows the words she just go a little mixed up. She has done many many anthems. Picked a bad time for it. I don't think it's a disgrace to the US. That's a bit over the top IMO.

So anyone who has ever messed up the words to the national anthem is a disgrace to the United States? Noted...

It sounded like she was yelling instead of singing.

Only at one point, when the crowd was cheering as they showed some troops on the big screens.

A) Guilty as charged! I primarily watch the open tryouts. VERY entertaining!

B) That off-pitch/pitchy comment is TRUE on every day of open tryouts.

C) That comment was also true of C.A. last night.

Agreed, especially since she could have lip-synced to a recorded version like others before have done. Instead, she goes at it live on the biggest stage in America and messed up a line. Could have happened to anybody. Not a big deal...

She basically messed up one line and one word in an earlier line. I can deal with the mess up. What I don't like is the way some super-star singers feel they have to show off their personal singing styles by jazzing up the national anthem. The moment should be about America, not that particular singer. Just sing it straight.
