January 29, 201115 yr This thread will be quiet... Huge win for Louisville on the road today. Whatever this team lacks in talent, they more than make up for it in heart. This team never quits. They did an excellent job of keeping Kemba Walker at bay, and did what they had to do to get the tough road win. That's now 4 wins over RPI Top 50 schools, 6-2 in the Big East. Wins like this make things much easier on Cards down the stretch.
January 29, 201115 yr Good game...I don't care how good Walker is that was a bad shot considering how much time was left. When the PG passed Walker the ball and he assumed the double team, Walker should have passed back for the open shot with what time was left instead of taking the shot he did. Congrats to UL for hanging on though.

Games like this will make them strive to play their best through the rest of the season. Huge win, go Cards!!!

January 29, 201115 yr Author Not only second, but all alone there. The meat of the BEAST schedule has only just begun, though, Louisville closes on a TOUGH stretch of games.
January 29, 201115 yr Excellent win for the Cards. Time to put Pitino in the COY discussion? Not yet, but they go better than 6-4 down the stretch you have to......
January 29, 201115 yr Great win, but how do you miss free throws at the end of the game, how do you let a guy behind you get rebounds at the free throw line? I believe UCONN thought all they had to do was show up. This team would be so much better if they could hit free throws, thats why they call them free.
