January 28, 201115 yr The 0 assists says nothing about his game Jimmer is constantly giving the ball up to his teammates however they always give it right back to him he is that good...He constantly moves to get open and his teammates look as if they want him to shoot it every time and thats what he does because thats why they win games...BYU lives and dies by the play of Jimmer but mostly they just live judging by their record, I have never seen a scorer that is so consistent at the college level except maybe Steph Curry...He shoots a lot and at a very high clip, very impressive ballplayer hands down best player in the Nation he's got everything Kimba has imo only maybe Jimmer is a notch better in every category other than end to end speed... Walker is the better passer, better ball-handler, better defender, and quicker, but other than that...
January 28, 201115 yr Walker is the better passer, better ball-handler, better defender, and quicker, but other than that... Correct. Jimmer is the better offensive player overall. He does things offensively that 99.9% of the others simply can't do.
January 28, 201115 yr Correct. Jimmer is the better offensive player overall. He does things offensively that 99.9% of the others simply can't do. You'll get no argument from me there. Quite simply he isn't the best "All-Around" player in the country however.
January 28, 201115 yr You'll get no argument from me there. Quite simply he isn't the best "All-Around" player in the country however. That's tough to say because everyone places different priorities on skills. He will be a 1st round draft pick though.
January 28, 201115 yr That's tough to say because everyone places different priorities on skills. He will be a 1st round draft pick though. I agree.
January 29, 201115 yr You'll get no argument from me there. Quite simply he isn't the best "All-Around" player in the country however. That is your opinion ,in mine he is .
January 29, 201115 yr Player of the year is a three-man race IMO--Jimmer, Kemba, & Sullinger. Would probably give the nod to Sullinger if the season ended today.

January 29, 201115 yr Jimmer don't like you disagreeing with the assessment of his game... Jimmer just may have to teach you a lesson ! Nice.
January 29, 201115 yr 48/42/90 plus 4 assists a game is very impressive. Those are close to Steve Nash type numbers minus the assists. Nice stats from these four players, three of the four are serious candidates for POY. January 29, 201115 yr I didn't feed into the Jimmer hype until recently. For the college game, the man can score all day. I don't really watch enough college basketball to remotely be able to pick who I think is the best player in the country, but I would have him as my player of the year right now. Couldn't go wrong with picking him, Sullinger or Kemba Walker this year IMO.
January 29, 201115 yr Fredette does give the ball up consistently; he just doesn't have a lot of help; vs. San Diego St. his teammates could not buy a basket; he has very good vision and is unselfish.
January 30, 201115 yr 32/5/7 today in a loss. 6/9 from the arc but 2/5 from the stripe. Hopefully they are on ESPN before he graduates but luckily we have the opportunity to watch every tournament game with the new TNT package.
