Interesting. I think it could work.

^I think Tennessee needs a QB that can manage the game. I thought Palmer showed in 2009 that he's more than capable of doing that. Obviously CJ is the focal point of that offense, so Palmer wouldn't be asked to do a whole heck of a lot other than manage the game IMO.

Plus he is enough of a threat to alleviate stress from Chris Johnson. Collins just simply cannot do that. I still believe Tennessee is as close as anyone to reaching the Superbowl if all the pieces are in place.

Mike Brown said Palmer was not going to be traded.

Did he?

If I'm Palmer I give Brown one more chance to trade me and if he doesn't every pass I throw will be 10 yards deep into the side line.

Not much different than what he did this year.

Not professional at all. Besides, he already said he will retire.

I don't expect to see it happen, but I think Palmer would be a nice fit in Tennessee. They've got all the pieces on offense to support Palmer. Chris Johnson and their ability to run the ball takes pressure off the QB immediately. The offensive line is very good, and they have good weapons on the outside. Kenny Britt is an emerging stud on the outside, and their other receivers are pretty solid.

To look at it from Carson's perspective, I think Tennessee and their philosophy are a good fit for him as well. It would be similar to the previous season when the Bengals won the division, except he would be surrounded by better talent across the board, IMO.

I don't think you will see Carson anywhere but on the West Coast.

If he has his way that will be where he goes. Great idea to try to get in that division too. If he goes to SF he sees the Cards, Seahawks, and Rams 6 times a year and avoids the Steelers and Ravens.

Carson didn't release that he would retire in his statement and Brown acted surprised when questioned about it, according to Geoff Hobson.

Carson will not retire.

Honestly I think Carson would do very well for a lot of different teams.

Anyone in the NFC West would love to have Carson Palmer and vice versa.

I think Dallas would be a better team with Carson Palmer. Buffalo, Miami, Detroit, Minnesota and Carolina would all be better.

Part of me wants him to go to the Raiders & Al Davis. He'd be able to play on the west coast for an owner who might be as clueless as Mike Brown.
