In all honesty if Palmer really wants out the best thing Brown can do is trade him. No way you want someone in the most important position on the team that doesn't want to be there. As an owner if Brown isn't willing to do what is necessary to keep Palmer why wouldn't he trade him.

What statement was that? The only thing I've seen included the threat of retirement. Has Palmer said something different?
