I would also argue that scholarships to EKU and the other former Div I-AA schools are still Div I scholarships.

This article is from 2007. But is probably about the same numbers statistically. 114 of 768 (15%) starters in the NFL came from something other than an a BCS conference school. The SEC alone had 130 starters. The MAC had 24 of 768 (3%). I don't know what to consider is full or a handful, but 85% of the NFL starters in 2007 came from a BCS conference school.

 

In addition to the steelers who have 20 non BCS players on their roster, Green Bay has 24 players on their roster. Here is an article showing how many MAC players will be in the superbowl this year. That is a pretty high percentage of players.

What does that have to do with the price of eggs? I would also bet that UK and Vandy have produced a lot more NFL lineman than Ball State. Would you rather play in the MAC or the SEC? If you go to UK as an O-Lineman you will either get replaced by a TE who has moved to the O-Line or you will get moved to DT or something or another, they do nothing but mess with players natural positions...And Vandy would struggle to win in the MAC...
