How Would You Describe Your Style ?

Featured Replies

The "Fashion Rules" thread got me thinking.

How would you describe your style ?

I would say I border the classic/boring style.

My closet is full of 3-5 brands. Under Armour, UK gear (I'll consider that a brand) and Ralph Lauren being the main 3.

I'm a big Under Armour fan. I love the way the t-shirts feel and I've started buying a ton of their hoodies also.

I have too many UK tee's and hoodies to count.

Ralph Lauren is a classic look to me. I have a ton of Ralph Lauren polos and t shirts.

I'm not big on fashion, but I am a sneaker freak. My shoe collection is huge. I wear a size 15 and that actually works to my advantage. I usually wait 3 or 4 months after the shoes come out and buy them on sale when the stores only have huge sizes left.

Non-Existant.

I love bling. Red, black, gold and silver are my favorite colors. Classy but different...is how I would describe how I dress.

Shop almost exclusively at Eddie Bauer .

To work, I'm a company polo and jeans kind of guy.

Outside of work, I have a closet full of rock tee shirts that I get to wear one day a week or so.

And I only wear Nautica jeans. Why? I don't know.

Express, Nautica, Eddie Bauer, and American Eagle make up the majority of my wardrobe.

I'd say I'm pretty stylish, if I'm going out, I always have to dress up. Yes, I've went to the bars wearing ties before when I haven't been coming from work.

One quirky habit I have is if I'm going out with a chick for the first time, I have to wear a never worn before shirt. :idunno:

Barney Stinson? Is that you?

Going out - Express and Polo with Levi Jeans (514) . A nice pair of Nikes, J's, or Sperry's on my feet at all times. I also like nice jackets (I own North Face and INC).

Any other time - Sweat pants, any t-shirt I can find, hoodie. Maybe some jeans...

Ann Taylor look but I am so not afraid to shop at Target for that look.

He wishes he was as fly as Barney. :D

Suit up!

My roommate actually got all the seasons of HIMYM for Christmas, so he and I have been watching the entire series lately, and we've decided we're going to "suit up" the next time we go out to the bar. Gotta do Barney proud.

For jeans I like American Eagle. I think they look nice but aren't as feminine as Hollister or Abercrombie. I like a lot of different brands of dress pants, usually black or Khaki.

For shoes I either rock Nikes or Pumas. I don't even remember the brands of the dress shoes I bought, didn't really care they all look the same to me.

For Shirts I'm really varied. I like sports T-Shirts, rock t-shirts, polos, and just recently really started like button up shirts with the sleeves rolled up. I like a shirt and tie as well, but I never button the top button because of my neck being kind of big and don't like my tie too tight.

If it's cold I'm rocking a pea-coat, if it's chilly I'm wearing an American Eagle jacket most likely.

And I'm superstitiuous so unless I'm in dress clothes my socks never match. Overall I just like to be confortable, not too dressy but not like a slob either.

Does anyone else shop vintage? I have gotten to where I get at least half of my clothes vintage (have always been a Goodwill T-shirt guy) and I've found a lot of good dress shirts, ties, and coats vintage.
