Work: If it's a normal day, jeans or khakis, either a company golf-shirt or a casual button down. I switch between my steel-toed and non-protective-toe wellington boots depending on whether or not I have a site-visit or jobsite meeting that day. If I have a meeting with an owner/developer/architect, it's dress slacks or at least nice khakis, a dress shirt and dress shoes. If I have a building opening, there's a tie and jacket added to the meeting garb.

 

Home: Jeans or cargo shorts, depending on the weather. Sometimes I'll go ahead and sport the casual button down all the same, but it's usually a nice t-shirt. Adidas "Adilette" sandals as long as it's not snowing or raining, otherwise, it's gym shoes in the spring/summer/fall, and and my wellingtons in the winter.

 

Weddings/Funerals/Church: Dress slacks/shoes/shirt. If it's for a wedding, funeral, Christmas or Easter, add a tie and coat.

I call it "Max-Com." In other words, I dress for maximum comfort. No suits, no dressy clothes, no dressy shoes. When I wear crap like that, I feel like a clown and my claustrophobia goes into overdrive.

 

Jeans (khaki-type shorts in summer) and T-shirts are preferred; but will go with the standard khakis and polo-type shirt for work if I have to be in the office for more than a couple hours. Gym shoes, work boots or plain-jane slip-on brown loafers for footwear.

Not being in high school I would feel very weird going into American Eagle.

Does anyone else shop vintage? I have gotten to where I get at least half of my clothes vintage (have always been a Goodwill T-shirt guy) and I've found a lot of good dress shirts, ties, and coats vintage.

True, it is a younger store. But I'm only 22 so I figure I have another year or two of wearing it. I buy online so I don't have to go in there.

Jeans/jogging pants with hoodie/fleece, a beanie/ball cap, and running shoes/work boats in winter.

Khaki shorts/basketball shorts, t-shirt, ball cap, and gym shoes in the summer.

 

If I go into the office, nice khakis, polo/button down/thin sweater, and dress shoes.

 

I won't spend over $25 on a single item of clothing for myself, other than shoes.

Same here. However I do have to dress nice for work everyday which I don't mind at all.

Agreed, I'm slowly moving away from it. I can't remember the last item I purchased from there, but I've taken the same size for the past 5 years or so, so I have quite a bit of AE wear in the wardrobe.

We're about the same age I think, I don't think there is anything wrong with us wearing it right now. Now if we're still rocking AE five years from now...... might be time to move on. :thumb:

Dillards Big and Tall, Men's Wearhouse, Bulls Heaven, Bulls Outfitters, USF Bookstore, UK Bookstore, and FootballFanatics.com are where I shop. Christmas gifts supply me with most of my gear for the year, but I supplement.

 

The only time you'll catch me in a suit is when I'm on the road for business, off to see a play, or at a funeral. Most of the time I dress business casual and even then it may involve some kind of USF, UK, or MSU gear. I have USF, UK, and Morehead ties, cuff links, and tie clasps and pins to go along with my wardrobe of team dress shirts, polos, t-shirts, jerseys, sweats, shorts, jackets, hoodies, socks, underwear, and gym shoes. Of course there is always my BGP gear, too.

 

Chicks dig the pink dress shirt, with a UK tie. Mrs. S loves the charcoal suit with the green dress shirt and the gold USF tie.

 

I'm like Jim Shue, in that it's all about comfort, and in my case cost, too. When I'm at home, it's turn up the AC, take off the cloths. I wear USF or UK gym shorts and maybe a t-shirt, maybe not, and am footing my cloggs.
