January 6, 201115 yr If I am just relaxing or hanging out with friends I will wear athletic type clothing. I have a lot of stuff from the Frontier League (the league the Florence Freedom play in) since I worked in it for 4 years so I wear a lot of that stuff. If I go out I will wear polos and jeans. I am also very big into dressing up.

I have gotten to where I get at least half of my clothes vintage (have always been a Goodwill T-shirt guy) and I've found a lot of good dress shirts, ties, and coats vintage. Yes, yes, yes! Although what I buy is usually not vintage, and often still has hang tags. And not at all ashamed to admit it. Best thrift store - Valley Thrift up on Reading Road. Mondays are 25% off, but holiday Mondays are 50% off. Went there on New Year's Day (50% off on Saturday instead of the following Monday). Among the items I purchased - Eddie Bauer men's winter coat for $3.99, Adidas climacool polo shirt $1.49, Antigua coca-cola logo golf shirt for $0.99, Clearwater outfitters t-shirt (new) for 0.99, Cutter & Buck Ryder Cup (Valhalla) golf shirt for $1.49, a Ft. Thomas JFL golf shirt for 0.49, Lauren Polo cap for $0.49, etc. Wife got a pair of leather moccasins and 4 tops, daughter got a couple of dresses and a few tops. We had two small shopping carts almost full and the total including tax was 34 bucks. Upside - great selection of polo shirts, ball caps, jeans, dress shirts, unusual t-shirts, etc. Downside - little in the way of suits and shoes. If you don't get there when the doors open on 50% off days, there are a couple of folks who literally swipe all the shoes into their carts. Edited January 6, 201115 yr by mcpapa
January 6, 201115 yr My style is all over. I'm a PE Teacher so I wear anything from jumpsuits to khakis and a polo or button up. Ballgames/weddings/special occasions its a suit/tie. Going out its anywhere from jeans and a t-shirt to slacks and button ups. I shop at Macy's, Dillard's, Buckle and athletic stores.

I probably have a couple hundred polo shirts, mostly brand-name picked up at thrift stores. If they look "worn", I don't buy them. Khakis and jeans. Plaid and cargo shorts for the summer and golf. Sneakers and boat shoes. Lots of ball caps. I generally make some effort to coordinate colors. I also have a ton of t-shirts associated with the high school my son and daughter attended (but as they get farther out from high school, I don't seem to buy as much), along with some Georgetown College and Harvard athletic stuff.

January 9, 201115 yr We're about the same age I think, I don't think there is anything wrong with us wearing it right now. Now if we're still rocking AE five years from now...... might be time to move on. :thumb: I'm 20 and majority of my clothing is either American Eagle or Ralph Lauren... I see nothing wrong with AE haha I've also got all kinds of favorite teams shirts and "lazy shirts" as I call them that I wear around the house or out for a quick trip to places. These shirts are just shirts I've accumulated over the years from being on all my different sports teams in high school.
