What are you asking for/getting for Christmas?

Featured Replies

It has the "CD / AUX" label, but I did not get the AUX input when I purchased the car. I've talked to a guy, and I think it'd be about $200. Well worth it, if Santa is buying. :D

You can get an adapter that hooks into the back of the CD player way cheaper than that.

I asked for some leather driving gloves and a dart board.

It would cost you that and then some, plus a bar tab to get me in the right frame of mind to suffer that sort of indignity.
My neighbor gave me a case of PBR I'll share for the cause.

So far all I know I am getting is a picture frame from my girlfriend. Normally by now I know everything I'm getting but my girlfriend and mom are in cahoots about something and it's like trying to break into Ft. Knox.

The only thing I'm really asking for, and I believe my girlfriend got me, is a Brandon Merrweather jersey.

One more Christmas with my 92 year old dad. His health has been failing greatly the past months.

You will shoot your eye out!

btw- we watched that movie forthe frst time this Christmas season last night. I am sure it will be watchd again a couple of times before saturday.

So, we did Christmas with my dad's side of the family today, and for the gift exchange we did that whole white elephant/dirty santa thing. Out of 22 gifts available, 16 were booze or booze-related, which is fitting for my family.

I, on the other hand, got tired of trading bottles around and decided to take one for the team and draw a fresh gift after having mine taken away several times. I end up with ... Shake Weight. Naturally, nobody wanted to swipe it away from me. :ohbrother:

Don't want a thing except for my January PET/CT scans to show the chemo is killing the cancer. I know just a small request.:lol:

And so ya'll don't get all sappy on me...cool hats and scarfs for my dome would be nice! Hey Guru..you got any BGP do-rags? :D

My sister has a similar setup that I was looking into, and an adaptor was about $45? $200 does seem high, but I guess it depends on the model and install fees.

Wetsuit and indirectly a bike I will be soon purchasing.

The $200 figure was a guesstimate by someone. I haven't checked with the actual people who would be installing it...

Car stereos can really be much more reasonable if you install them yourself. I know audio/electronics may not be come natural to a lot of people, but it's honestly not that difficult once you figure out which wiring harness you need to hook your specific stereo into your specific car. Somebody told me Crutchfield's website even has step by step how-to photos for most vehicles nowadays.

Funny. My brother wants the very same thing...

I actually just ordered my wetsuit a little while ago. First time I have ever bought a Christmas present for myself. I am not a cheap person, I am just not one to buy things for myself at anytime.
