Maybe Conner isn't as good as predicted and Covcath is better than predicted?

 

Sounds like Covcath's inside game at both ends of the court was once again too much for the opposition.

Covcath seems to be is very underrated, IMO

Great win for the Colonels. One thing good to see is they are winning the games at home,which is something it seemed last year was trouble for them. The other thing I see with this team is the unselfish play. It certainly appears to me that they really do not care who scores, as long as someone does. They seem to have a real strong chemistry amongst them, and they also seem to have a pretty deep bench this year as well. If they learn to not let teams back in games in the second half, and keep the pedal to the medal, this team I do think has the potential to do some damage in the region.

I think we can officially say Conner is not as good as some thought they would be. IMO: CovCath will only get better thru out this season.

Conner needs to play with a little more fire in their bellies. Pretty laid-back bunch.

 

I liked the outside shot of #55. They need someone besides their two tallest guys to hit 3s. Burns returns maybe in January which will help. Guards are athletic and solid defensively but they seem to struggle offensively.

Well for tonight at least, #44 of CovCath had a big hand in making Conner players either adjust their shots or rush them. Baker seemed have a hand in the face of the Conner shooter and or was swatting the ball away all night long of the Conner shooters.

 

Also congrats to Drew on the triple double as he had 10 blocks, and only three assists away from a quadruple double!

I don't get it. I know from experience that they shoot a lot of free throws during practice. That could end up hurting them during the regional tourny.

But when was the last time Dixie won a regional championship? In any sport for that matter. Year in year out they will do something to lose a big game, especially against CCH. Don't need to be a CCH fan to know/see that.
