Just returned home from the game and admit that I under estimated NCC and way over estimated O-Cath!!

 

Congrats to the 'Breds - the 2A Champs and undisputed best team in 2A for the year 2010.

 

I really thought this would be a shoot-out with neither team able to stop the other, that was not the case.

 

The only thing I will say about O-Cath is they had the largest contingent of fans that I have personally witnessed at a 2A game.

 

Mark it down they will be back next year...

You are back so you want to discuss. I stated earlier that Hitchew and Hayes would surprise you with their speed. Were you surprised? I also stated that NewCaths motion and movement would create hesitation in your LB crew. The majority of Kelly's yards came on dives.

 

FYI Kelly and Hitchew are cousins. With his brothers and the Zimmerman clan, how competitive arw their family flag football games?

You gotta love this NCC story. Former coach retains all-time win record. 1st time coach wins title. Great size on the line, great speed and tremendous desire. Only legit loss was to the 6A semi finalist. (sorry BW). Jake, Jack, Nick & Brian and many others, we are very proud of you. Tear down the goal posts and string up the nets!

For many of us from Newcath we can not make the 4 hour drive to Bowling Green, if it were still in Louisville you would have seen many more fans.

Do the blowouts in 1A and 2A provide ammo to those that believe there are too many classes? NCC/Mayfield would have been a heckuva game.

Hey brother, the NCC crowd ain't mine!! I am a Fort Campbell FalconBacker & was just at this game as a fan of 2A football. I was complimenting the fan support that the Aces brought with them.

Really??? A bad day is your response? This was not a fluke. OC was similar to Cov. Holy Cross only not as good on the lines or on d. I dont mean to be rude, but you haven't given NewCath credit. You mark this off as a bad day when in actuality NewCath's skill players were every bit as fast as OC's and their linemen were light years beyond OCs. Play this game tomorrow and you get a very similar result
