Offense not as good, defense a whole lot better, you arm chair QB's might be a little surprised when or if you get to see their front 4.....

If Murray is still a running offense they might have a little trouble with Catholic's front line... Catholic is a little suspect in their secondary, only because of youth,they are getting better with every game...

Everyone has always said defense's are what wins Championship's, Catholic sure has one this year... Led by Logan Cart a sure D-1 prospect.... Will they finally get that trophy this year ????

If Glasgow can run the ball, they will beat Murray. Murray has a pretty good pass defense,the reason they beat Catholic was because the boys from Owensboro just didn't show up and play their normal game. This year's Murray team is not near as talented as last year team,just a little faster.....

Owensboro Catholic always brings a terrific crowd,Danville and Fort C. where examples. The State Final 2A game, I think was close to record crowd and NCC didn't contribute a lot....

Watch Auburn today , that system is real close to the so-called FS and there not that shabby. Its not the offense its the defense, that's where OC lacks their ability to win the Big Ones. Its been several years since they have had some outstanding defensive players. They need more size and strength...

NCC played an a great game and they did outclass OC,but maybe there will be another day. GOOD JOB!!!!

Hayden dosen't play defense...

Everyone is talking how good NCC is and how many people scored on who, but you know Danville's defense is not too bad . The #2 rated team in the state only put up 28 pts on them {Boyle County} so maybe their better than you think....

I think Massey,not sure though could of been Murray...

" That's what they said about Murray {who was ranked No. 1 on defense}, and then it was repeated about Danville. In my opinion this will be the best offensive team you have faced on your schedule,so it should be a treat.. Goodluck!!!

Murray, Hancock County South Spencer, not so much your offense just the fact you lack the real speed that most good teams have. Before you jump my case I'm looking at film and sometimes it can be deceptive. As far as the run and shoot they see that every day in practice. If Catholic has a weak spot, it would definitely be on the defensive side of the ball. However, their offense is so multi-dimensional that it gives most teams a huge amount of problems. If you try to play man they will beat you, if you go to zone, they will beat you, and then when you think they are going to pass, they will let Russell Hayden carry the ball or the Dixon kid who has speed to burn. Russell had a 192 yds rushing and the total offense was 602 yds against a supposedly good defense by Danville. So, good luck, to the Breds, but of course, I have to root for my Aces!!

I'm sure NCC is a good football team, they wouldn't be here if they weren't. I just think the Aces have a better feel for the game when they are playing someone like the films have indicated NCC lines up offensively.

O-Cath has only punted a handful of times this year. If New-Cath doesn't score on every possession they could have a hard time winning the game. O-Cath defense is suspect at times but they do make adjustments and normally prevail, just as they did against Murray and Danville. It seems the Aces have a tougher time containing speed to the outside than they do with power runners such as N-Cath #3....

One sometimes two that's about it, Aces are avg. size, except for a couple of very big tackles. They are rather quick on their feet and have a lot of desire, their biggest asset is the amount of skill players they have and their ability to make something happen.
