November 27, 201015 yr Boise let a huge lead slip away. I feel bad for them. UKMF you're crazy if you don't think any team in the country is hoping they don't have to face them in the bowl game. One loss does not make them an average team. I completely agree, I guarantee that there are plenty teams that would not want to play Boise during the bowl season. Don't forget about TCU either, if Oregon loses next week, I believe TCU will make the title game, which is a HUGE if, Oregon is looking good, but you never know what happens in these weird rivalries.
November 27, 201015 yr I have never claimed they were the best team in the country. I think they can play with anyone, and to me they are the best one loss team in the country with the exception of Wisconsin. Oregon and Auburn have proven they are the two best in the country IMO. I hate Boise but to act like last night proves they aren't that good is crazy. No one wants a piece of Boise in a bowl game and that includes Bama and LSU. The sad part is you probalby believe that.
November 27, 201015 yr Boise lost and blew it, like 'Bama did to Auburn. Boise is out of the national title talk, but should still be in the Top 8 at the end of the week. I am an LSU fan and no way should the Tigers be in the National Championship picture. If you can't even win one half of your league title-you should be ranked about #10 at best.
November 27, 201015 yr The sad part is you probalby believe that. Okay whatever. Show that you know nothing about college football and haven't watched the last 4 or 5 years of bowl season .
November 27, 201015 yr He never said they were just average. I don't think anyone disputes that Boise is good but they aren't the best team in the country like some, including you have claimed. The fact is they are a good team that plays a pitful schedule and they were exposed last night. They are a top 5 team in the country still IMO. They are definitely the best one loss team out there, and given a chance to play could beat Auburn, and we already know they could beat Oregon. They got caught having a little bit of a let down, just like all top teams go through at some point in the season. Just the kicker couldn't pull it out for them like say the Auburn kicker did agaisnt UK.
November 27, 201015 yr The sad part is you probalby believe that. Bama already got embarrassed once by a school not in a major conference in Utah, and that was with a Bama team that was even more loaded than their title team. So yeah I would say they probably wouldn't want to play them, because SEC is not suppose to lose to such weak competition as were led to believe.

I think that the tops teams really look like this: Tier 1: Auburn and Oregon Tier 2: TCU, Boise, Wisconsin, LSU, Bama Tier 3: Ohio State, Stanford, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, Nebraska. I may have forgotten a team here or there, but that's how I see it.
November 27, 201015 yr Sorry Alabama has lost three games now and should get no better than a mid-level bowl game.
November 27, 201015 yr Sorry Alabama has lost three games now and should get no better than a mid-level bowl game. I know they've lost three. I still think they're better than most teams in the country. I no way, shape or form do I think they deserve a BCS bowl. Should have clarified that.
November 28, 201015 yr Didn't go to bed till 2:00. That was one of the better games I've ever watched! Still can't believe he missed the FG after the Hail Marry. Reminds me of the Wold Cup player that kicked the ball into the wrong goal several years back. He didn't make it back alive. I feared for that kickers life as he blew the biggest game ever for Boise St.
November 28, 201015 yr Okay whatever. Show that you know nothing about college football and haven't watched the last 4 or 5 years of bowl season . Because I don't agree with you I don't know anything about college football? Didn't realize you were the resident expert. You state an opinion like it's fact. Which bowl games are you talking about? Boise loosing to East Carolina or to TCU or to Boston College? Or do you just choose to hang your hat on the Boise wins? Boise is 2-3 in their last 5 bowl games. That's real impressive. But since your the expert and you think it's impressive then who am I to argue.

I find it funny you guys keep using what happened last year to help your argument. What in the wild world of sports does Boise beating Oregon last year have to do with this year? We are talking about now, this year. I'm guessing Boise is hoping for a bottom feeder bowl opponent like the rest of their schedule so they can destory them and continue to play the no one respects us card. Maybe Bama wouldn't want Boise but to state it like it's fact is foolish. And to back that claim up with a loss from 2 years ago is even more foolish. I would guess Bama would love to play Boise but I could be wrong.

It's ignorant to act like Boise has not always problem for any team they match up with the last few years. Spin that however you want to. And stop with the crybaby, "you're an expert" crap. Alot of people on here talk like that, yourself included. So quit with that garbage. I never claimed to be an expert and that is the most tired line on here. But Oklahoma, Oregon, Oregon State, and TCU would beg to differ with you on this one. Sure TCU won one of the two matchups, but the game they won was by 1 point which is giving them all they wanted.

A loss looks bad, and a win devalues the worth of having Boise on your schedule.
