November 29, 201015 yr I had heard that BSU could land in the Humanitarian Bowl and I hope to goodness that isn't true. It is pretty amazing that everyone roots for the little guy during March Madness but they seem to be the black sheep when it comes to football. I know the horse is nothing but bones by now but a playoff would be unreal. I feel the same way. Just think, the UCONN Huskies will make a major BCS game with a win next week, which will make them Big East champions. I hear a lot of people talking about how bad the WAC, Mountain West, and other conferences are due to the weaknesses in their schedules. I would take a one loss team out of the WAC or Mountain West before I would take a Big East and possibly even ACC champion the way these conferences played this year. And for those thinking that Boise would get blown out if they played a team like Alabama, LSU, Michigan State, Ohio State, etc., I do not believe that it would happen.
November 29, 201015 yr How is that any different than what you said to me? "the sad part is you actually believe that". That's not any different man, it may be packaged nicer but I took it that way which is why I said that. Your right, shouldn't have said that and I appologize.
November 29, 201015 yr Your right, shouldn't have said that and I appologize. We both went over the line, so I apologize as well. No big deal as far as I'm concerned.:thumb:
November 29, 201015 yr How do you know that for FACT? You don't. It's your opinion. I didn't know we were only allowed talking about facts on here?
November 29, 201015 yr Boise or TCU making the title game would have been the absolute worst scenario for anyone wanting a playoff. All that event would trigger is another "fact" for BCS supporters to throw out...look, it works, even the Boise's of the world can get in the big game. The best scenario would be for a repeat of Auburn's undefeated season when they were left out of the title game. I wish the winner of every major conference would finish undefeated for the next decade. Exactly. All the small school supporters should know they don't want a playoff and they for sure don't want any small team to play for the title (unless it's their favorite team) because it kills their argument but for some reason they don't all get it.

I don't agree, how much outrage would the Big 6 show if a "sisters of the poor" team like BSU or TCU took the field for the title and got whooped? Now that they have lost, all it's going to take is a Auburn win over SC and a Oregon Civil War victory and the BCS has just what they wanted.
November 30, 201015 yr I didn't know we were only allowed talking about facts on here? Never said that... But your opinion can't be used as a reason for Boise not to have just an equal chance at the Championship than an SEC team.

They might be upset, but they know they could never have the deck stacked in their favor as much as it currently is. Boise or TCU or someone else from the non-AQ conferences making the title game would hurt the playoff argument more than it would help, IMO. I think multiple power conference undefeateds (like the year Auburn was left out at 13-0) would provide the best support. JMO
November 30, 201015 yr Never said that... But your opinion can't be used as a reason for Boise not to have just an equal chance at the Championship than an SEC team. It wasn't. I'm not even sure what you're talking about now. I think Boise is very good and can beat anyone in the country once. I don't think they could play in the SEC, Big 10, Big 12, or Pac 10 and go unbeaten.
