For the record, Mr. Strong and Mrs. Wilson were both in attendance at the first boys and girls basketball games last night against Silver Grove.

 

Shelly Wilson is the reason Scott Code got let go, so she had better show up, and Mr Strong good for him. Next time you see him ask about the Asst. Coach that was let go form coaching but still has their job teaching in the School System, oh never mind he is one of his followers that came with him from Pendleton?

Back on topic--Congrats to Coach Styer for the job he did stepping into a less than desirable situation and making the best of it!! He's turned the program in the right direction, and hopefully for the Camels, his replacement will continue his work. Best of luck to Coach in his future undertakings, and hopefully he gets to spend some time with his family--Coaching is a time consuming profession.

Well said. Since his tenure the youth league numbers have increased quite a lot and the middle school teams have been successful. Before people start saying he (Styer) did not start the youth league, I understand it was started in Schlarman's last year I think but the numbers have increased while Styer was the head coach.

I would agree that teachers and students are doing better. But saying administration has nothing to do with the improvement is like saying a head coach and staff have nothing to do with wins and losses.

 

Really? How is that? A coach and staff train and prepare athletes to play. A teacher presents the knowledge for the students to learn. The administration? They hire and fire staff, make "school" decisions and do what the state board has told them to do. They have no direct influence on the students grades. I think you need a better comparison.

There...we can all feel better now. This is the officially licensed "handshake" of the Campbell County School's Administration. I have contacted Central Office and they have sanctioned it for use on BGP's.

So when the Administration goes and pick what sports they will watch and shake what senior hands they want on senior night, you do not think that someone cares? The Administration is paid to attend those games by the Contract that they have. I agree facilities are needed but, support needs to be for all organizations, not what they choose to support. All programs need to be treated fairly.

So I guess if you contacted Central Office, they must have some kind of guilt for failure to perform their duties of support for the Students.
