November 16, 201015 yr Well the Northern Kentucky Middle School teams get off and running tonight on both the girls and boys side. What are some of the more interesting matchups in tonights action for either the 6th, 7th and/or 8th grade boys or girls?
November 17, 201015 yr Author Blessed Sacrament swept Highlands in 3 games last night. 6th and 7th grade games were not close, 20+ point spreads in both. 8th grade game- HMS had the lead entering the 4th quarter and got outscored 18-5 to end the game. BS made 7 of 8 free throw down the strech to ice the game. The final was 40-31.
November 17, 201015 yr Author Only on the girls teams. All 6th , 7th, and 8th grade boys teams contain grade level players.
November 17, 201015 yr Shocked to hear Blessed Sacrament swept? Who shut down Hodge? Hoge didn't play. He had a broken wrist and is still getting his strength back..Josh Watson hasn't been playing either..
November 17, 201015 yr Doesn't Blessed Sacrament have Will Heppler? That kid is a player. Yes they do...
November 18, 201015 yr Author Doesn't Blessed Sacrament have Will Heppler? That kid is a player. Is he the big man on the 7th grade team? I thought HHS had some size until I saw the BS big man. He must be about 6'2".
November 18, 201015 yr ^I thought he was in 8th, but he might be in the 7th grade. You are right, a big boy with skills. CCH will be anxiously awaiting this young man.
November 18, 201015 yr ^I thought he was in 8th, but he might be in the 7th grade. You are right, a big boy with skills. CCH will be anxiously awaiting this young man. He should be playing up. He is a very nice player. He has been well coached by Ryan in AAU.
November 20, 201015 yr I understand Blessed Sac has the Heppler kid who must be a very good player but a small Catholic school with limited draw of players sweeping the Birds is a little concerning if I am a Bluebird fan. Could this be chalked up as just early season rust for the Birds or is the talent there?
