Just watched the final. Pure awesomeness. Couple things;

 

1. Hate Lori, she is still in love with Shane.

 

2. Looks like the prison for season 3

 

3. Hoping it's Meril for the. Character that returns.

 

4. Looks like the group is disconnected from Rick.

 

5. Carol is dumb.

 

6. Kinda let down with the reveal of everyone being infected.

I hate to say I told you so.

To me it looked like ole Herschel was happy Rick giving that speech at the end. Almost like he had a little smirk on his face, or maybe that's just his old man wrinkles. But Herschel was a bad mamma jamma in this episode (reminded me of one of Kurt Russel's scenes in Tombstone).

 

Lauri is a whack job. Really really wanted her to become reanimated and have Rick kill her.

 

Think I'm going to have to start reading the comics to hold me over until the fall.

So if everyone is infected does that include Laurie's unborn baby? And if she miscarries, will the baby reanimate inside her and kill her too?

Doesn't really matter. The show has staryed away from the comics in terms of if and when characters die.

It is kind of funny that we were all counting on a big shootout at Hershel's farm between the other gang and our heroes. It turned out that we didn't even see the other gang, which is almost certainly living in the prison or nearby.

Any thoughts on the prison community. Do they take Rick's group in or try to keep them out? Given that it's a prison I'd say Rick will be spending a lot of time defending the women in his group. I wish we would have learned more about the hooded chick last night and I was hoping to see at least one of the main characters offed but at least they are off of the farm which had bogged the show down IMO.

I bet Darly's brother got off the rooftop via that helicopter. The helicopter saw him, he was able to cut off his hand and he got in the heli and received treatment for that hand. We will see him again.

Really? How did he get past the zombies at the door of the roof? I don't remember them showing anything other than the cut off hand.
