Summer reading---here I come! Have you started on the comics yet?
May 15, 201214 yr No yet. Do you think that would be better than the book? I saw the book at the comic book store I go to in Florence, but didn't buy it. I plan on reading it at some point, but I think you'd be better off reading the comics first. They're at 95 issues right now (I think), but you should be able to catch up in no time. I'm a slow, slow reader & it didn't take me but a few weeks to go from the series' start to where it is now. But the comics give you a taste of The Governor & I'm guessing the book will give you the info on how he came to power.

May 15, 201214 yr There is a Walking Dead video game out now as well. You have to download it from either Xbox Live or through Playstation's online thing. They are doing it in episode kinda like the shows/comics. Animation is like a comic book. It reminds me of a "choose your own adventure" book where your decisions in the game dictate what happens next. It is only around $5 to purchase the first episode. Well worth the price.

Don't remember how many points it was...the equivalant of about $4.00. Worth the purchase. If you have a PS3 they have a version for that system as well.

I'm sure I'll read them sometime, but probably not anytime soon. Comic series is really getting interesting. Just finished #98 & can't wait to see the bombs that drop with issue #100.

June 11, 201214 yr My wife got me The Walking Dead: Compendium 1. Can't wait to read it. Best & most affordable way to start the series. I got it for Christmas.
June 14, 201214 yr Best & most affordable way to start the series. I got it for Christmas. I love it so far. Kinda different having watched the show first. But still really great. I recommend it to everyone that enjoys the show.
