Ryle is definately good enough to beat ST X and then go battle T for a State Title. I truly believe if Ryle brings the intensity the rest of the way out and plays up to their capabilities then yes they could pull the upset in Bowling Green as well. This would not surprise me one bit if this happened. Anyone else?

I agree sweep. Ryle has the size on the line and very smart, tough offensive players. Mace is a stud at LB and they played with so much heart tonight that if they bring that same conserted effort throuought the playoffs they will challenge for the title. They have a 3 headed monster that reared its ugly head tonight and it was named Hempel-Elliot-Mullins.

I would still take Trinity by 17 points in my opening thoughts. Ryle resembles the Dixie team of 4 or so years ago, but this time Trinitiy isn't down and won't over look Ryle.

Is anyone going to mention why he fumbled?? Hempel stuck him, short of the line for the two point conversion.

I saw the play that way as well! I don't know about stuck him but he def hit his shoulder and should be given the credit for stopping the conversion, more so than Towles losing control of it! And everytime I rewind it, I see it that way as well!

If you'd take off your anti-Ryle blinders for just a millisecond, you might think about giving some credit to Ryle's offense. Seriously, for ONCE - man up.

No question Trinity would be the prohibitive favorite, but you certainly have to like the direction Ryle is heading and it'll be interesting to see if they keep this level of play going through the playoffs.

I know this Ryle team well. They are good they do have some traits of the Dixie boys. However, T is strong this year and T is well aware of Ryle already. They won't get caught with their heads in the sand this time around but I will root for Ryle to win the game, just dont think they will.

Well, that certainly reads a little better. Honestly, your defense did not look "horrible." Your defense did not look typical of the usual Highlands' killer defense, but they were a far cry from horrible.

What is the rule regarding playing music on the PA while a team is in formation? Too many times tonight the Ryle PA guy was playing music while Highlands was calling signals. While I doubt it had any impact on the play it sure looks bad on Ryle's part. Ixne that, Ryle.
