For Behar's comments on Sharon Angle, not only should Behar lose her job on The View, but her own show should be cancelled. On top of that cancel The View.

Posters have spoken of the lack of civility in the country, this would be a prime example of a lack of civility.

If we cancel shows due to lack of civility we're going to have some channels go away.

I hadn't heard about this but quickly found the story about her calling Angle a derogatory name. So, what to do?

 

In cases like this or like Imus it's really simple. Who owns the show? Let them decide if her staying on the show despite her offensive comments is going to hurt the show. If it is, fire her like they did with Imus. Fans will ultimately make this decision through the advertisers.

You said she should be fired. Regardless of thoughts on the MoveOn lady with the foot on her head or other examples you cite this one comes down to her employer. I can't "fire" the lady or the the moron with the boot. I can condemn Behar but it's of little value when it comes to your desired result.

 

If you think she should be fired you need to organize boycotts of her sponsors. THAT is the ONLY way you will get anything done. While Beck hasn't been fired from Fox the parent company has taken a serious hit financially over lost sponsors. My guess is that he's on a shorter leash as a result unless they find other sponsors to step up and fill that void.

bb, your reaching. What Behar said can't be compared to physically attacking someone. She broke no law. If your that upset about it start calling/writing sponsors. If her comments cost her employers money they will fire her.

It occurs to me though, why would Behar say they were picked by illegal immigrants. Isn't that sort of bigoted?

The View is the biggest waste of TV air time next to Glenn Beck .
