October 29, 201015 yr Is Behar a real name? Or just rehab spelled backwards? Not sure of her last name but her first is a sure misnomer because she doesn't bring much of it at all.
October 29, 201015 yr Author See post #36 for the correct answer. Prime example of political correctness. Williams and Behar each make statements that offend, but because Behar is a darling of the left and Williams dared to consort with the right, Williams is fired, but not Behar.
October 29, 201015 yr Interesting that there was an effort to link terrorists and Christians together, because of the killing that went on. One group kills thousands, the other 2 or 3. But when there are offensive statements made, in one case, about a group and the other about an individual, there seems to be no link. Is it because the extreme lefty, Behar, attacked someone on the right? Was Juan Williams fired because he was politically incorrect and Behar is not fired, because she is on the correct side of PCer's? Hyprocisy reigns. Lame and illogical.

I believe that NPR's stance is something along the lines of "political reporters cannot be political activists". Had Behar been an employee of NPR, can we say with certainly that she wouldn't have been given das boot?
