October 26, 201015 yr Thoughts? Exciting first game pitching match-up. Not a whole lot of excitement for this year's World Series.
October 26, 201015 yr I like this match-up , I think it will be an exciting series . I hope the Rangers get #1.
October 26, 201015 yr I think the Rangers win in 6. I wonder if this will be the lowest rated World Series of all time? I'd guess yes.
October 26, 201015 yr I think Yes. My gut thinks the Rangers but it's hard not to look at SF beating the Phillies and hammering the Reds this year. I don't see Lee losing.
October 26, 201015 yr I'd like to see the Rangers pull it out, but I honestly don't have a whole lot of interest in the series.
October 26, 201015 yr I like baseball, but this series? ZZZzzzzzz... unless Lincecum could pitch every game.
October 26, 201015 yr Why is this not an exciting matchup? Because the Yankees and Phillies aren't there? You guys work for Fox?
October 26, 201015 yr Author Why is this not an exciting matchup? Because the Yankees and Phillies aren't there? You guys work for Fox? To the general fan which baseball struggles with to capture, that is probably correct. People love to claim they enjoy the Yankees, Red Sox, etc. losing, but the fact is they bring in not only a rooting interest, but also a root-against interest.
October 26, 201015 yr Why is this not an exciting matchup? Because the Yankees and Phillies aren't there? You guys work for Fox? You may be right. Being a Yankee and Reds fan I would have loved to have watched those two in the WS. Since I obviously can't I will be pulling for the Rangers. I like Nolan Ryan and the Philly fans imo are the worst fans in sports.....all sports. Rangers in 6
October 26, 201015 yr One team hasn't won the Series since 1954 when it was based on the other side of the country. The other has never even been to the World Series before. I'm very excited that one of these teams will win this. I think I'm probably pulling for Texas, but I'd really just like an excellent series.
