World Series - Rangers vs. Giants

Nothing about this WS makes me want to plan my schedule around the games. I can't even tell you if Game 2 is tonight or tomorrow. If it's tonight it's going to lose out to a)Ryle/Highlands and b)John Wall.

Worst part is, Saturday night is never good from a rating standpoint with many options and Halloween. On Sunday night they will be competing with the Steelers/Saints game (no hope). And if it extends to a 5 game series, the World Series goes up against Monday Night Football, in particular the Colts.

To the general fan which baseball struggles with to capture, that is probably correct. People love to claim they enjoy the Yankees, Red Sox, etc. losing, but the fact is they bring in not only a rooting interest, but also a root-against interest.

Absolutely. Casual fans will tune in to watch two things...a team they like and a team they hate. If they're indifferent, there's no interest.

The Rangers go back home down 2-0. I think the Rangers will win the next 3 at home. I certainly hope so anyway.
