Well, it has happened again, our stadium has been spray painted with stuff. All of the stuff was spray painted in Clear Paint, which we all know is OPEN's team color. Clear spray paint everywhere. Really bad sportsmanship by the OPEN players.

 

I would hope that the AD contacts the police and opens an investigation into Open’s actions. Of course that might just open a can of worms, who knows? :idunno:

That could be the case.

Open's biggest advantage is their large enrollment. They have an unfair advantage of playing many games on the same night across the state. However, travel costs could shut them down next year. At least they have saved money during the drought by not watering their game field since all of their home dates are open this year. One poster talked about Open having no class. I agree. Open has developed an arrogant attitude and I'm surprised teams are still willing to play them. Hats off to the Rams for stepping up. Now Open's administration has started talking trash about Raceland. Open AD Ima Butt told Coach Gopher Tye that playing Raceland is just like a bye week. Ram fans unite!!! Go Rams!!

Changed one little itty bitty word

Open's School Board council, Dewey, Cheatem & Howe, is looking into possibly suing Raceland posters on BGP's for slander.

One huge drawback we've run into when playing OPEN is that despite their depth of defensive talent, they bring a HORRIBLE gate. We make almost nothing at the gate or on concessions when they come to our place. Further, they refuse to display any team spirit. They don't bring cheerleaders or a band. It's a shame that such a quality program does not have better support or more class.

Thank you for bringing this up. With this statement the open adninistration has proven that they really don't want to risk the embarrassnent that losing to little 1A Raceland would bring.

I mentioned in n earlier post on this very thread that since Open was wanting things all their way in scheduling Raceland that Raceland should drop Open and schedule Bye Week. Check post 28 on this thread, last paragraph :thumb:. So you see it is now Open suggesting way to get out of this game. I have to pull a "Bill O'Reily" and call them out......

:lol: That is fine with us doc, should they want to go that route I am not saying we can negate the dirty tactics of D,C, & H but I am saying our lawyers got Ronnie Milsap a drivers license. :sssh:

They should be fine vs. Open. Open is soft but they play 11 players both ways. There have not been any injuries in games vs. Open during the past 3 seasons. I have a great deal of respect for Open players and Coach Tye but have little regard for their AD, Ms. Butt. To be frank with you, she stinks!

Too soon to answer. I am currently trying to get things taken care of.

Now that could be scary! Raceland imo would have the experience or at least comparable in firetruck parades/celebrations. The Fire Depts. here in the twin cities(Raceland/Worthinton) can parade with the best of them.
