I have been hearing something about Open changing their offensive scheme? I heard they were wanting to go to a more "open air" attack. I also know from pst years this could be just more Open propogandamove to get the Rams staff thinking. Has Open pulled this on anyone else out there?

Doc & Ram, you guys are over at the school more and around practices. Are our coaches preparing for anything different?

 

Also, did our JV play Open this past week and if so how did that come out?

OR, the coaches are preparing for just about anything. Open has been operating their offense on the silent count and it has been hard to have the defense ready for play. We are going to have our hands full.

 

Also, Open cancelled our JV game due to the upcoming Playoff schedule.

^^ Thanks Doc, I believe that everyone can see what a matchup this one will be, 1A Raceland vs. the mighty Open Date. Open at one time or another has been in every class and has left their mark on everyone's schedule without one "L" by their name. Sooner or later Open is going to lose, why not this week

I hope this game lives up to its hype...three pages about Raceland versus Open! I wish Raceland the best in this one and hope everyone stays safe. We had a player injured when we played Open. (Open can surprise you like that.)

I can't say anything else about this one except thank you Ram for starting this thread, only in Raceland are people so football crazy that we go nuts with boredom on open week. Thanks to everyone that posted and had some fun with this one :thumb:.

Now lets get more serious about the upcoming playoff game next Friday and talk some "real" Raceland Rams football.

I really think that the Rams needed this week off, especially to try and heal up some annoying injuries (bumps,cuts,bruises and such) and to try to get a couple of kids with far more serious injuries some rehab to see if it is possible for them to play.

I am sure that someone wil post a thread in a couple of days or so about our playoff opponet and that "real" game.
