Will Highlands hold LexCath under 40?

Featured Replies

They do match up well but CCH's power running game is better against the undersized LexCath defense and in turn LexCath's six million dollar speed matches up better against the Birds East/West Allstar Jet Series. That is not to say the Birds can't run right at LexCath because I think they can, I just don't think running wide is the best offense for the Birds this week.
They haven't ran the jet in at least 3 or 4 games now.

RU, we left the jet in the hanger last night.

Two of the best coached teams I have ever seen! Two COMPLETLY diferent styles of offense.Talent is probably even,so I give highlands a slight edge because they expect to win state titles and their coaches have been there many times before.Definitely under 40 pts for both teams!

Lex Cath has always choked in the playoffs, and until they get over this hump I don't see them getting past Highlands this upcoming week.

This is coming from a Ryle fan.

Yes and there will be a lot of thunder in Ft Thomas friday night.

FC did struggle in the redzone.

FC scored 2 out of the 3 times in the redzone.

HHS ran the jet against CCH, not sure about Grant, definatley not against FC

Not only did they not run the jet against FC, they didnt even use the formation at all.

Very little.

Unless Highlands has made a whole lot of changes, or improvements, having played against both of them early in the season, I got to go with Lexcath.

The keywords here.

Early in the season our sophmores and juniors still acted like... sophmores and juniors. Now its like having a whole team of seniors because of the experience they have gained throughout the tough schedule. Early in the season means nothing, was Cov Cath not ranked #1 in NKY at the beginning? I pick HHS on this one, jus i dont know the score.

I don't think so.
