October 18, 201016 yr Ohio State is ranked too high. They should be 20-25th. They should NOT be ranked higher than Wisconsin.
October 18, 201016 yr I think Michigan State is really interesting if teams start to lose. They've already taken down Wisconsin, and they don't have to play OSU. If teams start to lose I wonder if they will be taken over Boise or TCU? Should they?
October 18, 201016 yr Author I think Michigan State is really interesting if teams start to lose. They've already taken down Wisconsin, and they don't have to play OSU. If teams start to lose I wonder if they will be taken over Boise or TCU? Should they? State will have a tough game at Iowa, but if they win that they should go undefeated. I agree they will be an interesting team to watch.
October 18, 201016 yr ^ Two tough Big11 games on the horizon, both on the road, Iowa City and Happy Valley.
October 18, 201016 yr Oregon and Boise St really got the shaft here, IMO. Oklahoma has done nothing to be considered the best team in the country.
October 18, 201016 yr Oregon and Boise St really got the shaft here, IMO. Oklahoma has done nothing to be considered the best team in the country. It's not like it really matters at this stage.
October 18, 201016 yr Sooners/Mizzou and LSU/Auburn play each other saturday, Bama could move up two spots if we can handle the Vols in Knoxville.
October 18, 201016 yr Boise State gets little respect for a #1 spot when the TV talking heads discuss the BCS, but they have gone head to head with the 2 teams ranked above them in the 1st BCS rankings and have beaten both in the last few years, Oklahoma in the bowl game and Oregon in last year's game. It's not like they can't play with the big boys. But there's always a shadow of doubt when everyone talks about them being ranked #1 I guess because of their schedule strength. But they have proven they can win big games.
October 18, 201016 yr Author Oregon and Boise St really got the shaft here, IMO. Oklahoma has done nothing to be considered the best team in the country. Actually, OU has played one of the tougher nonconference schedules I've seen. Florida State (ranked), Air Force (was ranked), Cincinnati (BCS Conference). They have also beaten Texas. IMO it would be hard to find a better resume.
October 18, 201016 yr Author Looking at the math. The winner of the Auburn / LSU game could vault to 3rd - possibly 2nd. Edited October 18, 201016 yr by coldweatherfan
October 18, 201016 yr Sooners/Mizzou and LSU/Auburn play each other saturday, Bama could move up two spots if we can handle the Vols in Knoxville. I still think Bama play's for the national title. JMO.
