Gonzaga is a Sweet 16 team, at least Xavier can get to the Elite 8 every once in awhile. Boise has been to 2 BCS games and has won both. That trumps anything that Gonzaga and Xavier have done. In addition, this weak schedule argument is a tough one to support. I don't believe that many schools in the power conferences are calling Boise St., or for that matter, taking Boise State's calls.

I've heard more people echo your thoughts, that they don't deserve to be rated above a one-loss team from a power conference, than the opposite. Let's wait and see how the season plays out and then decide what Boise State and TCU should get.

So they go undefeated and another team plays a 10x tougher schedule and loses only once, and you really believe that Boise deserves a shot over that 1 loss team? Again, I'll ask the question you've been avoiding all day long....If Toledo went undefeated against the mighty MAC scheduling, would you feel they deserved to play for the title?

They were in the championship game not the team with the first round draft picks. In football, if there is no playoff, how do you know who beats whom?. I am certain you thought the Sooners would blow them out two years ago in the bowl game. You lost me here..... I said Butler was in the national championship game and UK with all their first round draft picks were not. That has nothing to do with conferences. Conferences do not play games. Individual teams do. You said they beat better teams from better conferences. I misread that as you talking about WV, I see now you were talking about Butler.

Iowa got beat by Arizona. Arkansas plays no defense. South Carolina is good, but they haven't looked great in any game outside of the Bama game. TCU has looked better than Boise? I can't buy that one either. Nebraska got dominated by a team that completed 4 or 5 passes on them. Ohio State has beat no one, though it hurts me to say that. Wisconsin has been either really good or not good at all, even though they have a great record. OU the team that barely beat a bunch of scrub teams, decimated an overrated FSU team, and beat the worst Texas team Mack Brown has had? Maybe all of the teams I mentioned are better than Boise, but I cannot agree that they have looked better thus far.
