IMO Borchers does ok at the play calling . Cooper is still a young football team . You will always have a different play you would have called after the fact . Im sure Borchers would take that one back if he could!

I'm not sure about this. IF Cooper wins and Boone looses, then there is a 3 way tie with Conner beating Boone, Boone beating Cooper and the Cooper over Conner (If they win). I'm not sure of tie breakers but I don't think you could use head-to-head.

 

As far as the game, I agree, cramps by Bradley and Morris really hurt. I thought the play calling was good enough to win and the only real complaints was the OT when it was 3rd and goal at about the 4 and the call was a roll out by Morris who was holding his leg half the 4th quarter. Everyone thought your best option was Bradley for two more runs if it took that as they had to go on 4th down anyway. If the roll out works, then no one ever says anything. Just part of coaching, you will always have second opinions.

 

I feel for the Cooper kids as they have had several close losses this year. They have a chance to play spoiler at Conner and I'm sure they will be ready.

Strangely, it does not matter whether Boone beats Ryle as far as playoff hopes for Boone. Boone must have Cooper beat Conner to make the playoffs. If Conner beats Cooper, Boone's season ends at 10 games.

Campbell County is finding ways to win. Coach Styer and staff are doing good things in A-Town. A chance for a playoff game at home would be great. Kremer and Co. keep rolling on offense. I have not seen a better QB this year. Highchew has Cain and Kelly, and Lawernce has great feet. But Kremer is like a good point guard, he makes everyone around him better.

My goodness, how many times have we heard this in 2010? Conner wins this game going away. Will make for a great beginning to district play in 2011. Conner will not lose this game in Hebron on Sr. night. Just won't happen.

If you are going to bash Boone's coaches in one thread, at least do the minuscule amount of work it would take to know the 6A playoff scenerios, in this thread. Kind of makes it look like you are uninformed.

If Conner wins they are in. If they lose Boone goes to the playoffs because it would create a 3 way tie in the districts with Boone, Cooper, and Conner. Boone owns the tie breaker which is records of your opponents that you defeat.

I believe I said that Cooper would be ready!! I don't think I said they would win going away as you predict Conner to do. The good thing is we will find out on Friday.
