Just read somewhere else where Highlands is having trouble filling its schedule. Love to see a Highlands SK match up.

 

Get Dale to schedule Middletown, currently 5th in the state of Ohio in D-1. I guess he prefers the Withrow's of the world. Funny Ft. Thomas wants to play SK now Simpson has graduated and lawerence this year. I wish we would have played the last couple myself.

They don't want to play Trinity or St. X because of the good chance of getting beat and being looked down upon in the national rankings which are a joke to begin with.Seems they play at the freshman and JV level,but not at the varsity level. If you are not clearly the best team in a weak football state, your not going to get any play. Would love to see the birds compete in Ohio, Texas, or Florida. The arrogance level would drop dramatically!

I would have loved nothing more than to have played Simon Kenton last year with Simpson and Hansel. Would have loved watching Roller , Rosenhagen, Dierig , Johnston , Sullivan and company against Mr. Simpson.:clap:

I do not have a dog in the fight. But for a top flight program, I don't find that list all too impressive. There are some solid programs on there and some who are decent but surely not daunting.

Thats not the point I was making. The poster I was responding to said HHS wouldn't schedule home-home games with teams the caliber of Simon Kenton. I posted this list to show him they will and have.

IF IF IF IF IF IF IF .. Highlands does not play in those states, but if Highlands was in the correct classification in any state they would do good. But Highlands plays in their correct class in the correct state so what is the point of the arguement?

 

SK not so much considering they are the second best team in their class in NKY and have never won state.

 

Furthermore from sources on this site, Highlands has been trying to schedule Trinity and Trinity has been trying to schedule Highlands but the dates didn't work out.

I love how every thread involving SK some how turns into a thread about Highlands. I'm calling it the Highlads curse as it seems to be in just about every SK thread for about the past month now.

If I'm Highlands for grins and giggles, I ask the KHSAA to place me in Simon Kenton's district just to see their response
