Two things...

Does anyone find it funny that this came out 2 years later?

Is it just me or does she look a whole lot like Deanna?

Who is Deanna?

Who is Deanna?

Brett's wife

Wowzers. Both of them.

I don't think he is going to make it through the season.

The acquisition of Moss may have bought him some time, but he seems completely dejected during this ESPN post-game interview. A sore elbow, the allegations, the fact the Vikings are 1-3, and the fact that he wasn't sure if he wanted to play to begin with make me think he could be done sooner rather than later.

For some of you, I know that isn't soon enough.

I agree with you. Favre was clear the only reason he was coming back was because he thought they could win it all. From the drama he's created with his past three teams I don't think he would have any scruples about a midseason departure if the Vikings' hopes are out of reach.

I would also add that he wasn't merely accused of "sexting" Sterger, which sort of connotes a mutual flirtation, but was accused of using his influence within the organization to acquire her number to make unsolicited sexual advances, including sending her pictures of his nether region. If true, and it appears it is thus far, that's a much more nefarious and public issue than a private issue between him and his family.

Wowzers. Both of them.

Both women or both ..... ?

Both women or both ..... ?

B..

Where's the Christmas present?

She makes want to cheer for Florida State...

Where's the Christmas present?

Post 7 and 18.

I heard the voice mails and it's him alright, the pictures he "allegedly" sent were there for viewing, but yeah, not my thing.

Now there are stories about him and chasing women during his days in Green Bay and we will likely just keep hearing this stuff more and more as time goes on. Favre really could have walked away a hero from Green Bay and instead, its becoming harder to find people who can defend him.

As for keeping this thread on topic, I can't imagine Roger would suspend Favre and have his ironman streak end over him being a pervert. Brett will have to be carted off the field before he takes a game off because of injury.

As questionable as the Bears secondary is, seeing glimpses of that explosive offense last night, has to make Chicago fans nervous. Thank goodness they have built up a 2 game lead early in the season.

Some quotes from Favre's press conference today....

"I don't want to play just to play"...

Also said his elbow injury was "very painful" and "wasn't improving".

While the elbow is a serious question mark I totally disagee that he looks dejected. Did you not see the excitement he showed on the field when he threw the TD pass to Moss? He jumped into Randy's arm like a young kid. He wants to play it's just a question of whether or not he "Can" play.

Yes, I saw him sprint down the field. I also saw him almost in tears on the sideline shortly thereafter. I also watched the entire postgame press conference & saw a dejected man who looked like he might break down at any minute. When add the fact that he just accomplished a HUGE milestone, has a lot of off the field distractions, and has been very poor on the field for a team who is quickly slipping out of playoff contention, and I think it's the perfect storm. Quite honestly, the only thing that might keep Brett Favre on the football field is the acquisition of Randy Moss, IMO.

If you didn't know, Jenn Sterger loves footballs.

Why did it become harder and harder to depend him, because of a guy choosing to play football? Yeah I mean this story definitely is not the best, however nothing with football and him has ever bothered me like other people. I just never really understood the hate for him, because of a guy not being able to decide if he wants to give up the sport he loves and played all his life. Basically everyone of us on here who played football never got that choice, our choice was made for us about not being able to play football anymore after a certain level high school or college. Not a single person on here knows how hard it would be to walk away from playing. Especially since he still can play pretty darn well. He showed that last year, and this year hasn't been as good. However he also hasn't had any receivers really until Moss came this past week. I think he made the right choice in coming back. Its not his fault that ESPN is the way it is, and likes to talk about the same story over and over. Be mad at the media and not like the media for telling the story, don't hate someone because he can't make a decision that all of us never had to make. I think its awesome watching him play football, he has always been a great football player and he has fun doing it. That is the way the game is suppose to be played.
