October 10, 201015 yr Sadly this could happen with Romo and the worse coaching staff ever assembled in the NFL running things. Edited October 11, 201015 yr by bugatti
October 11, 201015 yr I heard they want to talk to Coach Saban... Would Saban be dumb enough to listen? I would think he would realize he has the chance to be in the NC discussion every year at Bama and be a legend.
October 11, 201015 yr Saban and a hands on owner like Jerry Jones could NEVER co-exist. It's Saban's way or the highway and I don't think Jones could every keep his hands off the coach/team like he does now.

October 11, 201015 yr Same reason why I think Cowher never lands in Dallas. 100% agree with that one as well.
October 11, 201015 yr OL for sure. Romo doesn't have near the time in the pocket he used to have. Romo only threw 7 interceptions all last season. He has 5 in 4 games this year. I think the OL clearly deserves a lot of the blame.
October 11, 201015 yr Granted I think this is another wonderful overreaction but I do hate the Cowboys entire coaching staff, I've been mad ever since they let Payton go. If Garrett becomes the HC after Wade I think I might lose it. With that said, in the draft they need to take one or two OL and load up the rest with defensive picks. I also think Jerry is still getting a bad wrap for the way he used to be more so than the way he is now. People are so used to automatically saying "he's way too involved" etc. but I really think his attitude has changed a lot over the last few years and he isn't nearly as bad as he used to be. Granted I do think he is still much more hands on then your average owner but I don't think it's in a negative or overbearing manner anymore.
October 11, 201015 yr The love fest with Jason Garrett and his infatuation with throwing the ball virtually every play is costing the Cowboys. I am not really sure what Garrett has ever done to gain the respect he is given? Just because you have a lot of production in the passing game, it does not lead to victories. Two QBs threw for 400+ yards yesterday. Both lost as is usually the case.
October 11, 201015 yr They have one of the most dynamic RBs in the league, and they refuse to feed him the ball. Yesterday they at least got Jones involved and he was great. They need to get him 20-25 touches a game or they'll have no chance.
October 11, 201015 yr Dallas has/had questions with their offensive line. This was known heading into the season, yet nearly everyone picked them because they had "so much skill talent". Sorry, but once again we see the importance of the big boys up front. It doesn't matter how much skill talent you have if you can't block for 'em. That said, I wouldn't write the 'Boys off. They still have the pieces. If they can get the o-line playing solid football, this team can still beat anyone they play. I think Jerry Jones has been very stubborn with Wade Phillips. It almost seems like he's keeping Wade 1) just to show people that he's not going to make knee jerk reactions like he used to and 2) to prove that he made the right choice...he's going to keep Wade until he wins so he can say "I told you so". Phillips is a very good D-Coordinator, but I've never thought he was a good head coach, and I still don't. FWIW, he's the defensive version of Norv Turner.
October 11, 201015 yr Forget running the ball. I have Romo. Austin, and Bryant on my fantasy team so air that sucker out.
