I heard a great analogy today. Dallas is a fantasy football team. They have fantasy studs all over but they aren't a football team. I love Dallas but they are SOFT! That is the biggest problem IMO. The Oline is soft. The defense is soft. The secondary was is really soft. They are scared to tackle and can't cover me. I feel sorry for D Ware who is a STUD! I think a little good could come out of Romo being out. They are going to be forced to run the ball more which gives them a chance to get physical. They have 3 good RB's that Garrett does an awful job using. Think about it...which one of those 3 let the free rusher ruin Romo's season last night?

Romo has played well in some big games. Everybody thinks about the hold which wasn't even a QB play. Watch the slideshow I posted in that link. It is a real eye opener.

I hope they keep Romo around for a long time. Turnovers have been his biggest problem but that can be fixed, he is at the bottom of the list right now for issues with Dallas. I actually think his injury could be a blessing in disguise. If this injury sends the season down the drain (which it was probably already heading that way anyways) and leads to a new coaching staff and higher draft picks then I'm fine with that. If I'm Jerry Jones I'm throwing my wallet at Gruden and only drafting offensive lineman and DB's/Safetys. Granted they turned in to one of the two biggest disappoints of the season in the NFL but things are still looking fine for the future. I'm really tired of all of the overreactions.

I do not thing the off cord is smart enough to run the ball even with blowmo out.

I don't think he's done but I definitely don't think he's a feature back either. I can't figure out why Jones is not the main man right now and Barber isn't used for 3rd down and goal line situations. Dallas would be much better off using them very similar to how the Giants are using Bradshaw and Jacobs this year.

AMEN and I agree with everything you just said. I don't know if Jones is a feature back but you aren't going to know until you try him. I do know he was around 6yds a carry and Garrett didn't get him the rock. I think if Barber is fresh he's still a quality back. He's not a feature back though. You always have Choice if one goes down.

I'm glad they're finally catching on... it only took them a year and a half to figure it out.

I was out of town so I didn't see the game but I also just noticed that Barber had more carries last week.

If the Boys are going to a power run game(up the gut type plays)Barber should start.

If they are going to go outside more and use the back in the short passing game then it should be Jones.
