So winning by 7pts in a scrimmage where the Birds substitued a lot is getting their lunch handed to them. You are real lucky the kitty cats aren't playing the Birds this year. I think the score would be very similar to the flogging you took last week..

Trinity/St. X. is a big rivalry game where the vast majority of the time, no matter how much talent difference there is between the teams, the score will be tight.

 

That comparison is about as ridiculous as some Bird fans talking about Highlands varsity being the #1 in all classes of Kentucky. We have no delusions about ourselves, and admit when we are just not good. How quickly you forget that a very young Rock team handed you your lunch in a full game condition scrimmage. This same Trinity team has since matured tenfold, and would totally crush you now. :lol: :lol:

Yes I was there sitting 5 rows behind the Trinity bench. I saw Trinity make numerous substitutions. One in particular was two new safetys on the fourth and one that went 70 yds for a td.

As a fan of Trinity I was paying more attention to what they were doing rather then what Highlands was doing. I am sure you were doing the same from a Highlands perspective.

I am pretty sure the little school from Ft.Thomas has beaten your frosh and JV this year. The problem I see with your statement is "X" couldn't win 5A most years, so why would we move to 6A??
