If there were still 4 classes... the world would be a better place

Great job!!!! I would love for at least 6 of the games on our schedule to mean something....everyone would take the regular season a little more serious!!!!!! NOT JUST SAYING THIS WEEK DOESN'T COUNT!!!!!!!!!!

This makes absolutely no sense. Where are district games that are two hours away? Why would any team want to play the majority of their games in their own district? Why are the two potentially best teams in 6A going to play in the finals? For the life of me I just can’t understand what you are thinking?

I miss the 4 class system!

I totally agree....we only need 4 classes.....stating the obvious but i agree - too watered down - too many crappy teams make the play-offs...

I liked it back then when Frankfort was playing the High powered Danville's and the Bardstowns... I miss the 4 Classes.:cry:

I remember when Frankfort blocked 2 of the Pioneers best teams in the Regional Finals. Beat Henry Parks, Venus Meaux, Nicky Yeast, Gus Parks, et al. Ray Webb certainly had Alvis' number in those days. :thumb:

Boy...those are some names I've not thought about in a while. Harrodsburg and Paris were in our district and would usually kills us in Berea. Another name that I just thought about was Donald Smith, last I heard, he was coaching at K-State? He was like hitting a padded fire hydrant.

If I'm not mistaken, Donald Smith is no longer at Kentucky State. I believe he's the superintendent of the Marion County School District.
