Had a chance to clinch a post season spot tonight with about 10,000 fans in the stands....embarrassing

Doesn't seem happy about that.

And furthering my contention that Florida deserves zero MLB teams. Just contract them and be done with it.

That's terrible. I'd hate to play there.

After his junior year at Vandy, Price signed with Tampa and received a 5.6 million dollar signing bonus. A person earning $80,000.00 per year would have to work 70 years to get as much money as Tampa paid him for signing his name. His initial contract additionally pays him almost 2 million dollars per year. Under the MLB Collective Bargaining Agreement he will be eligible to vastly increase his wealth in the not too distant future. Price should exercise some decorum and show some appreciation for what Tampa and their fans (what few there are) have done for him.

This has zero to do with the embarassment that Tampa is when it comes to supporting their team.

I'm so hoping they can wait 1 more day to clinch. I've posted before most of my childhood memories were playing ball in our backyard while Dad would be working on something. Every single night Marty and Joe were on the radio. We went to a couple of games a year which was a lot for the area I'm from. He still watches them every night religiously. So much that my mom finally gave in last year and watches most nights too. We scored 4 box tickets for Wed game. Dad, mom, me and my little boy who turns 4 next month. It will be his first game ever. The thought of being able to take him to his first game ever with my parents there especially him and dad together has me on cloud nine! If the Reds could clinch that night it would be icing on the cake! I'm so stoked!

Quit being so selfish. :D The Reds just need to clinch tonight, and get it out of the way. The Cardinals will play 2 games before tomorrow nights game anyway. You might as well go ahead and get 4 tickets for tonight's game.

I can't get a return call. They're extremely busy...apparently.

Don't worry about it. Spindoc is wimping out. He says he has patients to see till 5 or something. What's up with that crap?

Got myself 5 tickets to game 1 of the NLCS and 2 tickets to game 2....Right next to the Reds bullpen in left-center.

Whatev. I haven't totally ruled anything out. I'm leaving tomorrow on a fishing trip for 5 days and am not packed at all. I might lose my religion if I put all of that crap off, got home well after midnight because you drive 41 mph on the AA highway and the Reds lose. I would pull out the rest of my hair, not that it would take that long.

Their teeth won't fall out by tomorrow...

I am thinking about buying the 6 I can get, I'm not sure if I will be able to sell them and make any money?

I do 60 mph on the AA. I can't afford 3 speeding tickets a month like you can. You're welcome to drive. Oh I forgot. You left your Honda out of gear and let it roll down your driveway.

I'm not defending Tampa, I just don't think a guy who Tampa has made a multi-millionaire ought to be the one doing the complaining.
