Sophie's Choice question for Spindoc. Will the desire to be in GABP to witness the Reds clinch live on Tuedsday, make you root for Cardinals to win on Monday?? If so, should we expect the Earth to change its rotational orbit???

It should go Bronson' date=' Volquez/Cueto, then Wood. Then put Cueto in the 4 spot when they advance. Maybe put Wood in the 2 spot if they play the Phillies.[/quote']

 

Wood shouldn't be anywhere near the playoff rotation IMO.

 

Arroyo, Cueto, Volquez with Bailey as the 4th if they're smart.

Wood has had a much more consistent year, IMO. Add in the fact that he's a lefty and you have Bailey on the outside looking in. I think Bailey has finally turned the corner but he won't be on the playoff roster.

Sorry Flotsam, as bad as I'd like to be there to witness it, I simply cannot fathom rooting for the Cardinals to win, unless the Reds playoff life was on the line in some fashion. Not to mention, Big Snack is a jinx and we'd likely go there and they'd donate 8 runs in the first inning on Tuesday anyway!:lol:

Why? I would rather have Wood out there than most of the starters right now and him being a rookie shouldn't make a difference. How many playoff games have Cueto, Volquez, and Bailey pitched in?

Going to be tough to keep your only lefty out of the rotation. I'd go with Arroyo, Cueto, Wood, Bailey. Of course, this will also depend on who they play.
