Again I will ask, what happens to the kids that have question marks but are cleared by the NCAA? Should all schools just not touch them?

 

No but if Cal wants to clean his image up a bit he could avoid recruiting one every year like he has so far at UK. Not to mention most coaches haven't forfeited two final fours because of shady players they recruited. For call it might be better to recruit some players of higher character to help his image and avoid having to forfeit his next final four.

I don't disagree that there is a chance that Cal knew nothing about this grade situation with Bledsoe. Why I don't believe that is the case because it is Cal! He has problems within every program he is apart of it seems. Before it anbody gets all "I'm a UK/Cal hater" on me hear this. I am well aware that these types of problems can and do take place within many programs. I think its all a bunch of crap and so sick hearing these stories.

Until society stops catering to the athlete just because they are an athlete...this will be never ending.

I gave you my thoughts on that in post #44. If you take a chance on them, don't complain if it goes bad. Nowhere near a perfect answer, but we aren't dealing with a perfect system so you must do what you can given the guidelines you are forced to play in.
