EZ Living
It looks like Dusty Baker is going to throw Harang back into the rotation starting Tuesday. What are your thoughts on this? Can he help the team down the stretch? Are they doing this to hopefully make him more valuable in trade scenarios over the winter? http://cincinnati.reds.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20100827&content_id=13997648¬ebook_id=13998160&vkey=notebook_cin&fext=.jsp&c_id=cin
nkuclubbaseball19
We've been wining without him. No need to let him come back and ruin the flow.

I thought Harang was going to be a free agent? If so it's obviously not for trading purposes..

cooperstown
He sure didn't pitch very well in Louisville in his rehab starts (11 ER, 14 H, in 11 INN). Hard to imagine he's going to come out of the gate strong up here.
SvFan4life
What about the Reds just using him in the bullpen, seems that the starting rotation is just fine without him.
spindoc
Hope he's healthy and does well. Because sure as shootin' ole Dusty will ride him like a borrowed mule.

The Scribe
Dusty will plug him back into the rotation and start him every chance he gets
Randy Parker
I'm not excited, but then again, I haven't been excited about Edinson Volquez lately either.

EZ Living
It's not bad news, it's terrible news. Terrible news for the Reds but great news for the Bats. Notice he hasn't pitched since the 20th for Louisville. I guess Rick Sweet didn't want to jeopardize their chances of winning their pennant. I guess Rick Sweet didn't want to jeopardize their chances of winning their pennant. If the Reds tell Sweet to pitch Harang, Sweet plugs Harang into the lineup. If Cincy tells him not to pitch Harang, he doesn't. It's not about Louisville going for the pennant.
the mathemagician
Four man rotation --- BA, HB, TW, and JC(Jean-Claude) until EV can get himself straightened out. Every game down the stretch is too important and we can't afford to give away a game while AH or EV tries to figure it out.
