Wells really has the Reds number. I figured the Reds would struggle to score runs tonight. The Cards are going to lose, so the Reds catch a break there. We'll see if the young lefty can bounce back tomorrow.

Sad performance by the Cincinnati Reds tonight. A win tonight would have meant one less game they would need to win next weekend.

The third base ump should be ashamed on that ringing up of Votto. Just pitiful.

The Reds' hitters reverted back to swinging early and often tonight. You witnessed the result...

They have swung early and often all season. You have seen the results...

I don't get bothered by first-pitch swinging, except in situations like Stubbs in the bottom of the 9th. Down one, you need a base-runner, & Stubbs is our quickest man. I think sometimes the situations in which they swing at first pitches are ridiculous.

Been more selective after the All-Star break. Reverted back to pre-All-Star game philosophy tonight... You witnessed the carnage--- losing to the Crumbs.

I agree, Stubbs first pitch swinging in the ninth is worthy of someone being fined or fired.

Nope, that's just your perception and looking for something to complain about. Only one regular is below the leage average in swinging at the first pitch, and the player that does it most is Votto who swings at the first pitch 40% of the time. They have just been winning since the break, so you haven't been able to gripe about it... :thumb:

The Reds faced a pitcher that has owned them his entire career.

You witnessed the result...

Geez. You guys really disappoint me. A guy can't even take his family out for a nice family outing without his fellow Reds fans letting him down. :irked:
